Chinese engineering company launches its service in Pakistan

LAHORE: China National Electric Engineering Co. (CNEEC) on Thursday launched its services in Pakistan through a simple but impressive ceremony held at a local hotel.

Chinese Consul General Lahore Mr Yu Boren was the chief guest while Zhang Chun, chairman from China National Electric Engineering Co Ltd, Asad Rehman Gilani, Secretary Punjab Development Company Ltd, Badrul Munir Murtaza, WAPDA Member (Power), Wu Guisheng, chairman CNEEC Pakistan and Engr Rehman Maqbool, GM Planning WAPDA, also spoke on the occasion.

In his address, Chinese Consul General Lahore Mr Yu Boren said with the launching of this company would pave the way to strengthen Pakistan China relationship and he hoped that Pakistan would get more assistance by the company in the field of development.

Chairman from China National Electric Engineering Co Ltd said that the CNEEC was a Chinese state owned professional international engineering company which had now registered its Pakistan chapter, a wholly-owned subsidiary of China National Electric Engineering Company.

He said the CNEEC Pakistan would strengthen the friendship bond between the people of Pakistan and China by providing skilled training and jobs to people of Pakistan.

He said training of Pakistani engineers would be a focal agenda by the CNEEC to train Pakistani engineers and would deliver in future projects along with trained Pakistani management staff.
