Brigadier Muhammad Ishaq Khan (Retd) father of Corps Commander Lahore, Lieutenant General Shahid Aziz died here on Sunday at CMH Lahore Cantt after a brief illness. His Namaz-e-Janaza was offered at Garrison Mosque Lahore Cantt after Zohr prayers. Besides Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi the funeral prayers were also attended by a large number of senior civil and military officials.
The mortal remains of the deceased are being shifted to Rawalpindi, where he will be buried after Namaz-e-Janaza at Army Graveyard Westridge Rawalpindi on Monday morning.
