Karachi be divided in five security zones: IGP Sindh

He was presiding over a meeting here Thursday at the Central Police Office (CPO) to review the security situation. All senior police officers including DIGs, AIGs, CID, ACVC, and those of ACLC were present.

The IGP stressed the need for security arrangement and action against criminals without any discrimination to control the law and order situation in the metropolis.

Moreover, he called for increased patrolling and snap checking at important shopping centres, financial institutions including banks, and all crime prone areas which were also volatile in nature.

Durrani also asked the senior officials to ensure that SHOs prepare comprehensive security around courts including Supreme Court, Sindh High Court, district and city courts to prevent any act of terrorism.
