European stocks close sharply higher

LONDON : European stock markets closed higher on Monday, with London 's FTSE-100 index of leading shares up 1.80 percen

In Frankfurt, the DAX rallied 3.02 percent to 5,847.29 points and in Paris the CAC-40 jumped 2.13 percent to 3,161.47 points. Shares in Milan jumped 3.67 percent.
