According to NBP here Monday, this award was announced during an impressive award ceremony, held at National Press Club in Washington D.C., USA. The criteria for the said award was based on the market leadership in assets, advances and deposits. In 2010 NBP became the first Pakistani bank to surpass the Rs 1 trillion mark in terms of total assets.
