KBP Central Rice Committee Chairman Ch Imanullah Chattha said that the crop which cost Rs 2100 per maund should be sold at Rs 1200 per maund which was being purchased at Rs 920.
He said that non-basmati 386, Super fine and others were at Rs 250 per maund.
He said the government should issue directives to government departments to buy rice from market so that a balance could be maintained in the market.
