Egypt's Alcotexa sells 965T cotton

The sales comprised 540 tonnes of Giza 88 and 425 tonnes of Giza 86.
The deal brings Alcotexa's export commitments for the 2011-12 seasons, which began in Sept. 2011, to 3,847 tonnes of cotton.
Alcotexa did not announce the price for the new season yet, the official said.
By this time last year, Alcotexa had sold 18,524 tonnes of cotton.
