US 3-year notes sold at highest yield since March

NEW YORK: The US Treasury Department on Tuesday sold $24 billion of three-year notes at a yield of 0.930 percent, the highest yield at an auction of this maturity since March, according to Treasury data.

The ratio of bids to the amount offered was 2.79, down from 2.93 at the prior three-year auction in May.
