Rs78bn allocated for 40 railway schemes, employees

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar Friday announced that the government has allocated Rs. 78 billion for railways in the current budget.

Of the total amount Rs 41 billion is included in the Public Sector Development Programme for 40 railways development schemes and Rs. 37 billion for pay and pensions of railways employees.
