South Korea revised Q1 GDP growth +0.5pc q/q, better than estimates

SEOUL: South Korea's economy grew a seasonally adjusted 0.5 percent in the first quarter over the previous three months, revised central bank data showed on Thursday, slightly above an earlier estimate of 0.4 percent growth.

From a year earlier, Asia's fourth-largest economy expanded by 2.8 percent in the January-March period, the Bank of Korea data showed, also marginally better than a 2.7 percent rise estimated in April by the bank.
