NADRA employee arrested for providing Pakistani identity to foreigners

ISLAMABAD: Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) on Friday arrested an employee of National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) in Islamabad for allegedly providing Pakistan's identity to foreigners.

The accused Syed Afsar Raza, arrested as per direction of Minister for Interior, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, was posted as Junior Executive in NADRA and was involved in altering records of Authority by showing the foreigners as part of Pakistani families.

The accused Afsar Raza was also involved in providing assistance to human traffickers.
