The consumers expressed their dismay saying it would create problems for the residents being out of the city limits.
The residents said it should be located in an area within the reach of the general public so that they can get their bills rectified and lodge complaints.
A complainant Dr. Irshad resident of Dhoke Charigh Din said he had been repeatedly visiting the office to get his commercial meter changed to residential but the officials were not entertaining his complaint and sending estimated bills.
He demanded of the concerned authorities to take action for redressing his complaint.
