European stock markets rebound at open

LONDON: Europe's main stock markets rebounded at the open on Tuesday, with all eyes on the US Federal Reserve as it prepares to kick-off its latest policy meeting.

London's benchmark FTSE 100 index climbed 0.6 to 6,295.19 points compared with Monday's closing level.

In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 index gained 0.6 percent to 10,359.77 points and the Paris CAC 40 won 0.2 percent in value to 4,557.00.
