Vietnam Sept crude oil output rises 1.3pc y/y

Actual output in August was revised up to 1.26 million tonnes from an estimate of 1.23 million tonnes. That was down 5.3 percent from 1.33 million tonnes pumped in August 2010, the General Statistics Office said in its monthly report.

Crude oil exports in the first nine months of the year rose an estimated 4 percent from a year ago to 6.27 million tonnes, or 167,500 barrels per day, the government said on Friday.

The following table updates production and export of Vietnam's key energy items between January and September.

Unit: oil, coal and LPG in tonnes; natural gas in million cubic metres; electricity in billion kilowatt hour.
