China finance ministry sells 3-month bills at 1.9738pc

SHANGHAI: China's Ministry of Finance auctioned 10 billion yuan ($1.6 billion) of three-month bills in the interbank market on Friday at an average yield of 1.9738 percent, traders said.

The auction yield came in below Thursday's benchmark secondary market yield of 2.0187 percent for three-month government bills.
