HESCO disconnects electricity of 245 villages, 360 tube wells

HYDERABAD: The special recovery teams of Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) have disconnected electricity connections of 245 villages and 360 tube wells during the month of March 2016 in different parts of HESCO Region.

The HESCO spokesman informed here on Thursday that during its operation, the special recovery teams also recovered an amount of Rs. 609078000/- as outstanding dues from the defaulters.

The teams also registered six FIRs against power thieves.
