LONDON : European stocks fell on Wednesday, with London's FTSE-100 index of leading shares dropping 1.40 percent to 5

Frankfurt's DAX fell 2.47 percent to 5,433.80 points, while in Paris the CAC-40 slid 1.62 percent to 2,935.82 points.
