Diplomat terms Khar's visit as significant

Talking to Radio Pakistan, he said that this year's UN General Assembly meeting is significant, because it will discuss three very important issues, including US strategy in Afghanistan, security situation in Pakistan and its diplomatic isolation. He said diplomatic posture of Pakistan was affected due to its own policies and partly because of worldwide economic melt-down, regional and international pressure.

Referring to government's policy, he said Pakistan as a partner in the international war against terrorism has always been very clear that no one will be allowed to use its soil for acts of terror.

He added Pakistan which has been a victim of terrorism itself has always assured the international community that it will use all its resources against the menace of terrorism.
