Obama to meet Abbas Wednesday

National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes confirmed the meeting, which will come as the Palestinians seek to press their demand for full UN membership of a Palestinian state.
"At roughly 6 o'clock, he'll have a meeting, a bilateral meeting with president Abbas, of the Palestinian Authority," Rhodes told journalists late Tuesday.
Obama is also due to meet with Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday morning, Rhodes confirmed.
