Wasan seeks action against outlaws without discrimination

He was presiding over a meeting on law and order situation at his office on Saturday. Additional Chief Secretary Wasim Ahmed, IGP Sindh Wajid Ali Khan Durrani, Deputy DG Rangers Brig. Zafar and senior officials from other law enforcement agencies also attended the meeting.

The minister was given a detailed brief on law and order by the senior officials of the police, rangers and intelligence officials.

On the occasion, the minister directed that all the authorities responsible for law and order should use all their resources to contain the situation and recover illicit arms as per their intelligence reports without consideration of the political affiliation of the criminals or their influential sources.

The meeting also decided to present concrete evidence and submit challans against alleged criminals in the court of law with full home work so that the outlaws should not go unpunished.

The meeting was further informed that during the Saturday's operation one target killer was arrested by Orangi Town police and weapons recovered from his possession while 83 other criminals were arrested for their alleged involvement in several crimes.
