Army troops continue relief, rescue operations in Sindh

RAWALPINDI : Relief and rescue operations continue by Pakistan Army troops in flood affected areas and establishing Army

According to the ISPR here on Thursday, during last 24 hours, 2,000 persons were rescued by boats in Badin, Mithi, Mir Pur Khas, Tando Allahyar, Umar Kot, and Sanghar Districts. Whereas 2,500 persons were shifted to safe areas on vehicles.

200 tons of rations were also distributed among flood affected and another 30 tons of ration provided by helicopter to trapped villages in Sanghar district.

Meanwhile, Army Doctors treated 2,000 patients treated in medical camps in all affected districts.
