ICC umpire Aleem Dar determines to win more awards in future

Talking to a private news channle, he said its great honour to achieve David Sheperd Trophy award for his country and he will maintain performance further.

Aleem said that Pakistan has won the David Shepherd Trophy for the third time after he was named as the ICC Umpire for the year 2011.

"It is a great honour for me to get the award for my country and I shall try to maintain my performance to win more awards for my country. I try to carry out my job with utmost honesty and it is the only secret behind the success, " he added.

The Cricket world remarked about him, " Aleem Dar is the greatest umpire and Pakistanis really feel proud that a Pakistani has succeeded in getting highest award of cricket umpireship".

Replying to a question, Aleem Dar said Pakistani cricket is facing problem because international cricket is not being played in Pakistan and every players and umpires are not getting chance for their improvement so he hopes the situation will be improved.
