In the previous week, annual food and fuel inflation stood at 9.55 percent and 12.55 percent, respectively.
The primary articles index was up 13.04 percent, compared with an annual rise of 13.34 percent a week earlier.
India's central bank remains bent on fighting domestic inflation , which climbed to its highest in more than a year to 9.78 percent in August, reinforcing the case for another rate hike on Friday despite weakening growth and a worsening global outlook.
The Reserve Bank of India, which has lifted rates 11 times in 18 months, will release its mid-quarter review on Friday.
