Naltar hydropower project to be completed by July 2016

ISLAMABAD: Fourteen megawatt ongoing hydropower project at Naltar in Gilgit will be completed by July this year.

Talking to Radio Pakistan, a spokesman of Water and Power Department said that a Chinese firm had initiated work on this project in 2013, which will be completed at cost of over Rs 3.8 billion.

The project after completion will help end load shedding from Gilgit and adjacent areas, he added.
