It may be mentioned that Chief Minister Punjab had called the Ambassador of Sri Lanka in Pakistan and requested for cooperation to Punjab government for overcoming dengue virus. The Sri Lankan Ambassador contacted his government and the President of Sri Lanka Mahinda Rajapaksa immediately announced cooperation.
The Sri Lankan government will provide medicines of dengue virus, related equipment and medical staff in this regard.
