The committee discussed in detail the privilege motion moved by Senator Shahid Hussan Bugti in the sitting of the senate on 24 November 2010 on irresponsible attributed to Wazir Jahankari Shift In-charge and Noman Azzem, tarmac in-charge at Karachi airport on 13 November 2010.

It was informed that necessary action has been taken against the officials involved in the breach of privilege of senator Shahid Hussan Bugti and responsibility have been fixed.

The committee expressed its satisfaction and the disposed off the matter.

While discussing another privilege motion moved by senator Muhammad Azam Khan Swati in the sitting of senate on July 22, 2011 regarding forged passport and ID card carrying his picture used by an unknown person for import of a car.

The committee directed the concerned authority to expedite the process of investigation and submitted detailed report the committee.

The FIA authority sought two week time from the committee for finalization of the report and assured that it would be submitted well in the time and action will be taken against responsible persons.

The committee was attended by senators Main Raza Rabbani, Salahuddin Dogar, Abbas Khan, Professor Sajjid Mir, Wasim Sajjad, Shahad Hussan Bugti, Muhammad Azam Khan Swati and concerned officers of the Ministry of Defence, PIA, FIA and others.
