Taiwan sets government bonds, bills issuance plan for Q1

TAIPEI: Taiwan plans to sell T$155 billion ($4.72 billion) in government bonds in the first quarter of next year, mainly to repay debt, the finance ministry said on Wednesday.

The ministry said it would issue two-, three-, five-, 10- and 20-year government bonds in the January-March quarter.

The government also plans to issue T$130 billion in treasury bills in the first three months of 2016, the ministry said.
