New Zealand dollar down vs US dollar after Fed hikes rates

WELLINGTON: The New Zealand dollar was quoted at $0.6754 after the US Federal Reserve raised interest rates, down from $0.6785 before the decision was announced.

The kiwi briefly fell as low as $0.6732 after the rate decision but then made up some ground.

The Federal Reserve hiked interest rates for the first time in nearly a decade on Wednesday.
