LSE gains 2.50 points

LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) here Tuesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 2.50 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5349.64 points and closed at 5352.14 points.

The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 1.524 million shares to close against previous turnover of 400,500 shares, showing an upward move of 1.124 million shares. While, out of the total 70 active scrips 7 moved up, 11 shed values and 52 remained equal.

The top three Major Gainers of the day were Mari Petroleum Company Limited, Pakistan Oil Fields Limited and D.G.Khan Cement Company Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 27.05, Rs 8.00 and Re 0.99 respectively.

Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited, Dewan Farooq Motors Limited and Byco Petroleum Pakistan Limited lost their per share value by Rs 1.15, Re 0.30 and Re 0.30 respectively.

Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Silkbank Limited (Saudi) with 1.150 million shares, K-Electric Limited with 105,000 shares and Pace Pakistan Limited with 100,500 shares.
