European stocks dip at open

LONDON: Europe's main stock markets eased at the start of trading on Tuesday.

London's FTSE 100 index fell 0.2 percent to 6,211.3 points compared with Monday's close.

Frankfurt's DAX 30 dipped 0.1 percent to 10,872.7 points and the CAC 40 in Paris also lost 0.1 percent in value to open at 4,750.4.
