A duty officer ASI Mehmood at New Karachi Industrial Area Police Station said the firing incident occurred between two groups. According to police, 22-year-old Sohail Ayub, 35-year-old Abdul Ismail, 26-year-old Noor Mohammed, 30- year-old Mohammed Yousuf, and 56-year-old Ayub Mujeed died in the incident. While seven persons including Salman, 50, Idrees, 30 and a woman got injured. After the armed clashes fear gripped the area as unidentified persons resorted to aerial firing and forced shopkeepers to pull down.
