Shipping activity at Port Qasim

KARACHI : Two ships arrived at the Port on Saturday, two ships carrying furnace oil at FOTCO and phosphoric acid at EV

Berth occupancy was maintained at 56 percent at the Port where a total of eight ships namely M.V Saphir-II, M.V Tycon-II, M.V Ioanthi, M.V Mn Henry, M.T Bunga Akasia, M.T Quetta, M.T Gem of Dahej and M.T Sichem Pace are currently occupying berths to load/ offload palm oil, fertiliser, paraxylene, furnace oil and phosphoric acid during the last 24 hours.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 44439 tonnes comprising 44439 tonnes imports and no exports was handled at the Port during the last 24 hours.

M.T Gem of Dahej sailed on Saturday and M.T Bunga Akasia sailed on Sunday morning.

M.V Maeask Kentucky and M.V Msc Aurelie at QICT were expected to take berth on Sunday.
