Makhdoom Amin laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard

HALA: The 18th head of Sarwari Jamaat and Senior Vice Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Makhdoom Muhammad Amin Faheem was laid to rest in the premises of Dargah Noo Sarwar near his father Makhdoom Muhammad Zaman Talub-ul-Moula grave here on Saturday evening.

Tens of thousands followers of Sarwari Jamaat, leaders and workers of PPP and other political parties attended his funerals amidst sob eyes.

Earlier, the Chairperson PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, former Prime Minister Raja Parvez Ashraf, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, General Secretary PPP Sindh Taj Haider and large numbers of Senators, MNAs, MPAs, leaders of various political parties and followers of Sarwari Jamaat attended his Namaz-e-Janaza.

The central party leaders and elected representatives also offered condolences to Makhdoom Jamil-uz-Zaman, the elder son of Makhdoom Muhammad Amin Faheem and his brothers Makhdoom Khalique-uz-Zaman and Makhdoom Rafique-uz-Zaman at Makhdoom House.

Emotional scenes were witnessed when the followers Sarwari Jamaat arrived here from different parts of Sindh to attend the funerals of their spiritual leader.

All business activities in Hala and other suburb towns and villages were remained closed after hearing the news of the demise of Makhdoom Muhammad Amin Faheem. The Sarwari Jamaat has also announced three days mourning on the death of their spiritual leader.

Makhdoom Muhammad Amin Faheem born on August 4, 1939 did his primary education as well as SSC and HSC examinations from educational institution of his native town Hala and obtained Bachelor Degree from University of Sindh Jamshoro in 1961. Makhdoom Muhammad Ameen Faheem was the seasoned politician of the country who started his political career in 1970 when he elected Member National Assembly from the ticket of Pakistan Peoples Party.

He never conceded defeat in the elections and elected Member National Assembly in general elections of 1988, 1990, 1993, 1997, 2002, 2008 and 2013 from his constituency.In 1985 polls, he did not participate as PPP boycotted the non-party general elections. Makhdoom Muhammad Ameen Faheem was also the President of Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians and he along with his other brothers did outstanding struggle during the dictatorial regimes from 1977 to 1988 and again from 1998 to 2008. He was offered key posts during the dictatorial regimes, but he never accepted these offers and remained stood with PPP where he also held the post of Senior Vice President PPP till his death.

Makhdoom Muhammad Amin Faheem was the 18th head of the spiritual Swarwari Jamaat of Hala and being the spiritual head, he always motivated the followers to focus their attention on acquiring education.

Being the elected member and the federal minister during PPP regimes, he served the people of district Matiari particularly the people of Hala by initiating various development projects.

On Saturday, emotional scenes were witnessed in Hala town where his followers were weeping when his body was brought in a motorcade from Karachi here at Makhdoom House.
