UET prepares modern water purifier

In this connection a function was held in the central office of BCCI at Sikandar Town.

The function beside the manufacturer Engineer Noor Rehman of the UET was attended by students of different universities, colleges and teachers, health experts, representatives of the Environmental Protection Agent (EPA) and people belonging to different walks of life.

Chairman BCCI and former Director, IRNUM Hospital Peshawar. Professor Dr. Gul Rehman briefed the participants regarding the benefits of the instrument.

He said that according to surveys of international agencies water of the flood affected districts Charsadda, Nowshera and Peshawar is injurious to health.

He said that BCCI under its human awareness campaign with the assistance of the University of Engineering and Technology have prepared a modern machine of international standard, which can guarantee 100 purification of water from germs and other materials The instrument, he said has the capacity of purifying 300 to 500 litre water daily.

The use of the Cure-0111 could help minimize environmental pollution in surgical rooms of hospitals operation theatre maternity homes, schools, colleges and other places.
