European stocks diverge at open

LONDON: Europe's major stock markets opened mixed on Tuesday with London's benchmark FTSE 100 index up 0.13 percent at 6,360.42 points.

In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 fell 0.10 percent to 10,174.80 points and the Paris CAC 40 added 0.09 percent to 4,708.19 points compared with Monday's close.
