Talking to state run news channel he claimed that continuous bloodshed and killing in Karachi might spread to other parts of the country if it continued unabated.

He claimed that local and foreign powers want progress and development of our country because instability and chaos in Pakistan would definitely affect region and the world.

Replying to a question he said it was a test time for both the govt and MQM as they were facing challenges but they would certainly overcome the problems with their political vision and peace would be restored in Karachi with joint efforts.

Rasul Bakhsh Raees said conflict was not good for the country and foreign powers had come up to a conclusion that any conflict among ANP, MQM and PPP, which were considered liberal parties, would benefit hardliners in next elections.
