The exhibition is organized every year to celebrate the Independence Day in a befitting manner and revive the spirit of 1947 Independence Day among the people of Pakistan. The three day activity is not merely evocation of a sentiment of loyalty to the memory of a great event but a reminder to follow the ideals and principles of a great leader.

The photographs bring to mind the momentous era when almost the whole of Muslim nation formed part of a history making process.

Around 200 rare photographs would be put on display in the three-day exhibition which would be open for general public.
