LSE gains 66.65 points

LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) here Monday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 66.65 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 6173.97 points and closed at 6240.62 points.

The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 952,200 shares to close against previous turnover of 2.133 million shares, showing a downward slide of 1.181 million shares.

While, out of the total 79 active scrips 23 moved up, 15 shed values and 41 remained equal.

The top three Major Gainers of the day were Attock Refinery Limited, General Tyre and Rubber Company, and Treet Corporation Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 11.00, Rs 7.24 and Rs 3.73 respectively.

Pakistan Oil Fields Limited, Engro Corporation Limited and Pakistan Petroleum Limited lost their per share value by Rs 10.43, Rs 5.00 and Rs 3.00 respectively.

Top three Volume Leaders of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 214,500 shares, Silk Bank Limited (Saudi) with 179,000 shares and NIB Bank Limited with 130,000 shares.
