Govt to construct nine hydel power stations

ISLAMABAD: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to construct nine hydel power stations in different areas.

According to Radio Pakistan quoting official sources that 305 million rupees have been allocated for this purpose.

Three of these hydel power stations are located in Chitral, two each in Upper Dir and Mansehra and one each in Lower Dir and Shangla districts.

These power stations on completion will generate 660 MW electricity.
