LSE gains 69.39 points

LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) here Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 69.39 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5889.63 points and closed at 5959.02 points.

The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 3.113 million shares to close against previous turnover of 1.755 shares, showing an upward move of 1.357 million shares. While, out of the total 140 active scrips 34 moved up, 10 shed values and 96 remained equal.

The top three Major Gainers of the day were Nagina Cotton Mills Limited, Highnoon Laboratories Limited and Dynea Pakistan Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 2.80, Rs 2.70 and Rs 2.55 respectively.

Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim Limited, Honda Atlas Cars (Pak) Limited and Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited lost their per share value by Rs 0.92, Re 0.80 and Re 0.79 respectively.

Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Crescent Textile Mills Limited with 1.500 million shares, Dewan Salman Fibre Limited with 469,000 shares and Dewan Cement Limited with 382,500 shares.
