LSE gains 36.74 points

LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Wednesday witnessed bullish trend by gaining 36.74 points as the LSE Index-25 opened with 5473.54 points and closed at 5510.28 points.

The market's overall situation also corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 915,000 shares to close against previous turnover of 833,300 shares, showing an upward move of 81,700 shares.

While, out of the total 75 active scrips 13 moved up, 14 shed values and 48 remained equal.

The top three Major Gainers of the day were Shifa International Hospital Limited, Oil and Gas Development Company Limited and Dewan Farooq Motors Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs. 5.00, Rs. 1.37 and Re 0.62 respectively.

Engro Corporation Limited, Habib Bank Limited and Hascol Petroleum Limited lost their per share value by Rs. 4.69, Rs. 2.58 and Re 0.89 respectively.

Top three Volume Leaders of the day included The Bank of Punjab Limited with 536,500 shares, Byco Petroleum Pakistan with 85,000 shares and Fauji Cement Company Limited with 67,000 shares.
