Talking to media persons on Monday Deputy Director Food Sardar Saif Ullah Khan told that the wheat was purchased at 36 wheat purchase centers set up at all the four districts of the division Mianwali, Bhakkar, Khushab and Sargodha.
He said that 17775.365 metric ton was purchased at Sargodha, 1851.100 at Khushab, 1382.600 at Bhakkar whereas 30455 metric ton wheat was purchased at Mianwali center out of the total target of 3, 42000 metric ton.
He said that 71451 empty bags distributed in Sargodha, 6213 at Khushab, 28025 at Mianwali and 7258 gunny bags have been distributed at Bhakkar district among the farmers so far.
