US stocks fall on Europe, US slowdown worries

NEW YORK : US stocks opened lower Tuesday, after three straight winning sessions, as concerns rose about economic slowd

The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 70.31 points (0.61 percent) to 11,412.59 in the first 10 minutes of trade.

The broad-market S&P 500 fell 9.90 points (0.82 percent) to 1,194.59 and the tech-rich Nasdaq Composite slid 24.61 points (0.96 percent) to 2,530.59.
