Yield on Mauritius' 364-day Treasury bills falls to 1.57pc

PORT LOUIS: The weighted average yield on Mauritius' 364-day Treasury bill fell to 1.57 percent at auction on Friday from 1.95 percent at the previous sale on March 20, the central bank said.

The central bank, Bank of Mauritius, sold all the 700 million rupees ($19 million) worth of debt it had offered.

Bids totalled 2.285 billion rupees, at rates ranging from 1.54 percent to 2.50 percent.
