LSE sheds 23.66 points

LAHORE : Lahore Stock Exchange shed by 23.66 points on Monday as LSE-25 index opened with 2833.80 and closed at 2810.1

The market's overall situation also did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 939,288 shares to close against previous turnover of 1.280 million shares, showing a difference of 340,862 shares. While, out of the total 100 active scrips 8 moved up, 67 remained equal and 25 shed values.

Oil and Gas Development Corporation Limited, PakGen Power Limited and Pakistan Tele Communication Limited were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs0.80 Rs0.60 and Rs0.45 respectively.

Millat Tractors Limited, Engro Corporation Limited and Pakistan Oil Fields Limited lost their per share value by Rs22.75, Rs4.11 and Rs2.98 respectively.

The Volume Leader of the day included Nishat Mills Limited with 132,841 shares, PakGen Power Limited with 115, 981 shares and Lotte Pakistan (PTA) Limited with 104,745 shares.
