ISE index witnesses bearish trend

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Stock Exchange on Friday witnessed bearish trend as the ISE-10 index was down by 50.07 points and closed at 3400.50 points.

A total of 3,000 shares were traded, which were down by 900 shares as compared to Thursday's trading of 2,100 shares.

Out of 155 companies, share prices of 125 companies recorded increase and of 30 companies registered decrease.

Siemens Pakistan Engineering remained the top trading company with Rs.49.89 per share, while the price of Murree Brewery share decreased by Rs. 49.95 per share.

Adamjee Insurance, O.G.D.C , Pakistan Oilfields remained the market leaders with 1,500, 500 and 1,000 shares respectively.
