10 police personnel were honoured with posthumous awards of Qaid-i- Azam Police Medal who became victims of violence while performing their duties.
The relatives of late police personnel received the awards. Similarly, 7 police personnel bagged presidential Police Medal for their bravery The ceremony was attended by provincial ministers, senior government officials, and relatives and well-wishers of the recipients of the awards.
