Shipping activity at Port Qasim

Berth occupancy was maintained at 64 percent at the Port Qasim on Saturday where a total of nine ships namely M.V Tycon-II, M.V Alexi-I, M.V A-Aska-II, M.V New Sun, M.V Hai YU, M.T Quetta, M.T Gent, M.T Bunga Aster, M.V Pearl of Jebelali are currently occupying berths to load/offload cement, corn, containers, canola seed, furnace oil, palm oil, LPG and fertilizer during last 24 hours.

Cargo handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port Qasim where a cargo volume 62,415 tonnes comprising 60,924 tonne imports and 1491 tonnes exports, was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.

M.V Alaska-II sailed on Saturday morning and MT Quetta sailed on Sunday morning.

M.V MSC Magali, M.V Maersk Wyoming at QICT, M.T Golden Ambrosia at EVTL, M.T Pacific Energy at FOTCO are expected to take berth on Sunday
