PPP, ANP leadership welcome FATA Political Parties Act

Talking to PTV on Saturday, he said the extension of Political Parties Act 2002 up to FATA would have far-reaching impacts for FATA.

He said that the people will join political parties and take benefits of swift development adding that it is a landmark achievement of a political and democratic government.

Senior Minister KPK Rahim Dad Khan said that giving political rights to the people of FATA was not only the demand of the people of FATA, but was also a dream of Shuhada of PPP and its senior leadership, which come true today.

He said PPP government always gave much importance to FATA and tried to resolve their basic problems.

Shaheed ZA Bhutto was the only leader of Pakistan who had visited FATA at Tehsil levels and tried his best to understand and resolve their issues, he added.
