ISTANBUL: The Turkish lira firmed to below 2.34 against the dollar on Tuesday after the central bank revised down its end-2015 inflation forecast to a mid-point of 5.5 percent from a previous 6.1 percent.
The lira had stood at 2.3520 before Governor Erdem Basci's comments.
